You are within walking distance of wineries and downtown Main Street, Altus where you will find shops, restaurants, the Altus Museum and Coal Miner's Monument. Nearby there are activities such as boating, fishing, hiking,white water rafting and bird watching in Altus's bird santuary.
The European tradition prevails in this small country inn. Just as in Europe decades ago, people traveling and seeking accommodations along the way found a warm and out of the way place to relax and sleep in a peaceful and informal atmosphere. We strive to duplicate the same ambience. Each room has a balcony overlooking the gardens as well as a back deck overlooking the woods where deer and other wildlife roam. An inviting overlook affords you privacy and a beautiful view of the town and valley through the trees. It is as beautiful at night as in daylight. Atop the mountain is the masterfully restored St. Mary's Mountain Catholic Church built in 1879 which also has vast panoramic views.

We have special business rates for travelers and small groups. If you arrive on a Monday through Thursday, we will give one night at the regular rate and the second night is half price. We try to accommodate your special requests and help you plan your itinerary while you are visiting. If you have a special occasion or anniversary, we can make it memorable. We are the only lodging in Altus so you know you are in the center of all activities when you stay at "The Inn".
